The Supervisory Board
It is the task of the 12-member Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG to appoint, advise and monitor the Management Board. The Supervisory Board is also involved by the Management Board in the company’s strategic alignment and receives regular updates on the implementation of the strategy.
In accordance with the German Co-Determination Act, the Supervisory Board comprises equal numbers of representatives of the shareholders and the employees. The individual members are introduced below.
Dipl. Kfm. Michael Grimm (born 1960, nationality: German) studied business administration at the University of Frankfurt/Main, Germany and initially worked for Arthur Andersen Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft as a tax consultant and auditor. From 1997 to 2002, he worked at Hoechst AG and supported the transformation of Hoechst AG into Aventis S.A.. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Grimm was a member of the Executive Board at Grohe Water Technology AG & Co. KG and responsible for finance, controlling and investments, then Managing Director of Triton Beteiligungsberatung GmbH. From 2008 to 2020, he was Commercial Managing Director of Dr. Johannes Heidenhain GmbH. From January 2019 to March 2020, Michael Grimm was a member of the Executive Board of Diadur SE and a member of the Supervisory Board of Dr. Johannes Heidenhain GmbH and MD Elektronik GmbH. Mr. Grimm has been a partner at WP Human Capital Group since October 2020.
Mr. Grimm has been Chief Financial Officer of Leica Camera AG (Wetzlar, Germany) since 1st May 2022 and a member of the Advisory Board of Salunex GmbH since 1st January 2025.
Mr. Grimm has been an independent member and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2021. Since August 2025 he is Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Otto Kajetan Weixler (born 1958, nationality: German) began his professional career in 1984 after studying construction management at Philipp Holzmann AG, head office in Munich, where he quickly assumed responsibility in various commercial functions. After serving as commercial director of Philipp Holzmann Italy, he became sole managing director of the newly founded HSG Philipp Holzmann Technischer Service GmbH in 1992, which he built into a leading German facility management company before it was acquired by Bilfinger Berger AG in 2002. As Chairman of the Management Board of Bilfinger HSG Facility Management GmbH and Executive President of Bilfinger SE, he continued to expand the company into the German market leader for facility management with revenue of over €2 billion. Following the sale of the company from Bilfinger SE to Swedish financial investor EQT in 2017, Mr. Weixler continued to actively manage the business as Chairman of the Management Board of the renamed Apleona HSG GmbH before retiring from the company’s management at his own request in 2019 after 28 years.
Mr. Weixler has extensive expertise in establishing and expanding a service company to market leadership, has in-depth M&A knowledge and extensive experience in integrating acquired business units.
Mr. Weixler also played a key role in establishing GEFMA, the German industry association for facility management with more than 1,000 members, which he led as an honorary board member for 21 years, including 15 years as chairman, before being appointed honorary chairman at the end of 2019.
Mr. Weixler is also a member of the Supervisory Board of AVECO Holding AG in Frankfurt/Main (Germany)
Mr. Weixler has been an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2021. Since August 2025 he is Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Heinrich Alt (born 1950, nationality: German) was an employee of the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) from 1977 until his retirement in 2015 and held management positions in several agencies, including director of the Bad Kreuznach Employment Office. From 2002 to 2015, he was a member of the Management Board of the Federal Employment Agency, responsible for labour market policy and basic social security. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Heinrich Alt was State Secretary in the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. Since 2015, he has been an honorary professor at the University of Applied Sciences of the Federal Employment Agency.
Mr. Alt is also a member of the Supervisory Board of AVECO Holding AG in Frankfurt/Main (Germany)
Mr. Alt has been an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2021.
Björn Empting (born 1987, nationality: German) has been working for COMCAVE.GROUP since 2018 and, as Head of Opersations, is responsible for the training operations of this subsidiary of Amadeus Fire AG. Before joining COMCAVE.GROUP , the industrial engineer worked as a sales and investment controller at the headquarters of Douglas Parfümerie from 2013 to 2018. In addition, Mr. Empting held the position of commercial coordinator for Parfümerie Douglas Switzerland AG from 2017 and was also involved in the work of the Board of Directors in this role.
Mr. Empting has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2021.
Ana-Cristina Grohnert (born 1967, nationality: German) has more than 30 years of experience in strategic leadership and governance, organisational and people development, as well as finance and transformation. Following professional positions at Preussag AG, ABB Asset Finance GmbH and DG HYP, she held a range of senior roles in finance and consulting.
As her career progressed, Ms. Grohnert served, among other roles, as Managing Director and Labour Director of Ernst & Young GmbH and as a member of the Management Board and Labour Director of Allianz Deutschland AG. In these positions, she was primarily responsible for strategic people and organisational matters and worked closely with supervisory boards and co-determination bodies.
Today, Ms. Grohnert is active, among other roles, as a founding member of Score4Impact gGmbH and Berlin Advisors Group, and as a start-up investor.
Ms. Grohnert has been an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2026.
Natalie Jopen (born 1985, nationality: German) has been regional director of the United Services Union (ver.di) Hessen since June 2025. Prior to this, she was deputy regional director. Between 2019 and 2023, she was deputy managing director of the ver.di Main-Kinzig-Osthessen district in Hanau. Ms. Jopen began her trade union career in 2013 as a trade union secretary in Frankfurt/Main. She followed this with positions in the trade department and youth division in Fulda, and then in the municipal department in Hanau.
Ms. Jopen has a diploma in political science. She studied political science, sociology and social psychology at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main.
Ms. Jopen is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Mainova AG.
Ms. Jopen has been an independant member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 12 November 2025.
Cornelia Kröll (born 1963, nationality: German) began her career at Landeswohlfahrtsverband Hessen, where, following her vocational training, she initially held administrative roles. She then studied Political Science and Educational Science, graduating with a Diploma in each discipline.
Since 1995, Cornelia Kröll has worked for the trade union ver.di (formerly ötv). She initially held roles as Youth Education Officer and Trade Union Secretary, with a focus on organisational and people development and social insurance. She later headed the Social Insurance division. In her current role as Deputy Regional Director of ver.di Hessen, she is responsible for key areas including Human Resources, Legal (including legal protection), Education and Social Policy, and plays a central role in the strategic and organisational management of the regional organisation.
Ms. Kröll has extensive experience in self-governance bodies and committees in social insurance and employee representation. Among other roles, she has served as CEO of Unfallkasse Hessen, Deputy Member of the Management Board of DRV Hessen and a member of the Administrative Board of AOK. She was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Mainova AG from 2011 to 2024.
Ms. Kröll also serves on the Supervisory Board of Stadtwerke Frankfurt am Main Holding GmbH.
Ms. Kröll has been an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2026.
Annett Martin (born 1967, nationality: German) is a financial expert, auditor and tax advisor. She worked as an auditor at Arthur Andersen and EY from 1990 to 2012. As a partner in the audit department, she advised national and international medium-sized and large companies, including family businesses. She has extensive financial expertise in all areas relevant to business.
Ms. Martin has been working as a freelancer since 2013. She works as a finance mentor and advises shareholders, supervisory boards, management boards and managing directors on all finance-related issues. She also trains supervisory boards in large corporations. Furthermore, she supports companies in all matters relating to annual financial statements.
Ms. Martin has been an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2017.
Florian Schuhbauer (born 1975, nationality: German) graduated from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management with a Master’s degree in Finance and Business Administration. He began his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in risk management and equity research. He then teamed up with partners to establish the software company Newtron AG, which offers software for optimising strategic procurement processes. Following the sale of Newtron, he became CFO and Executive Vice President at DHL Global Mail in the USA, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post AG. After his time at DHL, Florian Schuhbauer initially worked for General Capital Group, where he focused primarily on applying a private equity approach to listed companies, before building up the public equity business as a partner at Triton Partners. He is Co-CIO and founding partner of Active Ownership Capital S.à r.l. and Active Ownership Corporation S.à r.l. (AOC) in Luxembourg and has more than 20 years of investment experience as well as experience in operational management positions.
Mr. Schuhbauer is also a member of the supervisory boards of HelloFresh SE in Berlin, NFON AG in Munich and PNE AG in Cuxhaven.

Mr. Schuhbauer has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 22 October 2025.
Andreas Setzwein (born 1981, nationality: German) is a legal expert and specialist lawyer in employment law. Before joining Amadeus Fire Group, Mr. Setzwein worked as an solicitor in employment and commercial law. He has been employed by Amadeus Fire AG since 2014 and currently heads a department within the Legal department. In this role, he is primarily responsible for contractual matters relating to the Personnel Service and Training segment, as well as Group-wide IT and data protection law.
Mr. Setzwein served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG from 2016 to 2021.
Mr. Setzwein has again been a member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2026.
Sebastian Sprenger (born 1981, nationality: German) has been Head of Central Services at COMCAVE Group since January 2025. After joining the company in 2012, he took on various leadership roles in Sales and managed individual branches, territories and regions. As Regional Director, he was responsible for substantial parts of COMCAVE’s field organisation. Over a period of more than ten years, he also helped shape cooperation with labour-market stakeholders at local, regional and supra-regional level. Following his move into Operations, he has been responsible since 2025 for the central organisational functions involved in delivering training programmes. Prior to this, he gained professional experience with other education providers. He is a qualified IT systems management specialist.
Mr. Sprenger has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2026.
Gabriele Unützer (born 1961, nationality: German) has extensive experience in vocational training, quality management, and organisational and people development. Since 1995, she has held a range of senior roles at Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss, including responsibilities in product management, quality management, certifications, funding management, marketing, and committee and association work. She also lectures in preparation courses for advanced commercial examinations and has experience as an examiner on panels for certified accountants and controllers.
Her professional profile is complemented by a degree in Educational Science and additional qualifications in Sustainability Management, mediation, systemic coaching and change management. She also has knowledge of and practical experience in DIN EN ISO standards, including through her work as a specialist auditor and her involvement in a DIN EN ISO standards committee. For many years, she has also served on the Management Board of Qualitätsgemeinschaft Berufliche Bildung Region Köln e. V., which she has chaired since 2024. Her particular areas of focus include education, quality assurance, change management, coaching, mediation and supporting organisational development processes.
Ms. Unützer has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Amadeus Fire AG since 2026.
