We can look back on an eventful history spanning around 40 years since our foundation in 1986.
Below you will find some of the milestones in the history of the Amadeus Fire Group.
New brand identity for Amadeus Fire Personnel Services and Amadeus Fire Group
- Amadeus Fire AG gets a new logo, a new colour scheme, a new website and, with ‘Verstehen. Vertrauen. Verbinden’, a new brand claim.
- The Amadeus Fire Group receives a separate Amadeus Fire Group logo as the umbrella brand. The slogan ‘Wir. Vermitteln. Kompetenzen.’ remains unchanged.
- Monika Wiederhold becomes a new member of the Management Board on 1st November 2024 and is responsible for the Training segment as COO.
- Amadeus Fire AG is named a Kununu Top Company for the third year in a row.
2024
New location for Amadeus FiRe
- Amadeus FiRe AG opens a location in Leipzig, extending the total number of branches in Germany to 22.
- Amadeus FiRe AG is named a Kununu Top Company for the second year in a row.
- Thomas Surwald steps down as a member of the Management Board at the end of the year. Robert von Wülfing is responsible for the Training segment until further notice.
2023
Awards for the companies
- Amadeus FiRe AG is named a Kununu Top Company 2022, placing the company among the top 5% of all companies on Kununu.
- GFN GmbH is named one of the best training providers for 2022/23 in a study by Stern magazine.
2022
Expansion of the Training segment
- Amadeus FiRe AG acquires GFN GmbH in September.
- Amadeus FiRe AG opens the 21st location across Germany in Bremen in November.
- The Amadeus FiRe Group expands the Management Board to include Thomas Surwald for the Training segment and appoints Robert von Wülfing as Chairman of the Management Board in November.
2020
Change at the top of the Management Board
- Robert von Wülfing is appointed Spokesman of the Management Board.
- Dennis Gerlitzki is appointed Chief Operations Officer and is responsible for the Personnel Services segment.
- Amadeus FiRe AG opens the 20th location in Germany in Nuremberg in April.
- Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss opens a location in Mannheim.
- Amadeus FiRe AG acquires Comcave Holding GmbH in December.
2019
Group revenue exceeds € 200 million for the first time
- Peter Haas steps down as Chairman of the Management Board of Amadeus FiRe AG.
- Amadeus FiRe Group revenue exceeds €200 million for the first time.
2018
Company anniversary
- Amadeus FiRe AG celebrates 30th anniversary.
2016

- Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss celebrates 65th anniversary.
2015
New record for external employees
- Amadeus FiRe AG has 2,500 external employees working simultaneously for the first time.
- Robert von Wülfing is also taking on responsibility for the Training segment.
2014
New locations for Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss
- Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss opens locations in Düsseldorf and Hannover.
2013
New Chief Financial Officer for Amadeus FiRe AG
- Robert von Wülfing is appointed Chief Financial Officer of Amadeus FiRe AG, where he is responsible for finance and accounting, controlling, human resources, IT, legal affairs and auditing.
2012
Amadeus FiRe AG celebrates 25th anniversary
- Amadeus FiRe AG celebrates 25th anniversary and the most successful financial year in the Group’s history.
- Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss opens a location in Hamburg.
2011
Amadeus FiRe AG is included in the SDAX
- Amadeus FiRe AG shares are admitted to the SDAX in March.
- Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss founds TaxMaster GmbH and offers the innovative “Master of Arts in Taxation” course for the first time together with Aalen University.
- Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss opens a location in Stuttgart.
2010
New CEO for Amadeus FiRe AG
- Peter Haas is appointed Chairman of the Management Board.
- Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss becomes a member of forum distance learning.
2009
Group revenue exceeds € 100 million for the first time
- The founder of Amadeus FiRe AG, Günter Spahn, steps down as CEO.
- Amadeus FiRe AG now has 2,000 employees.
- Amadeus FiRe Group revenue exceeds €100 million for the first time.
2008
Amadeus FiRe expands the offering with IT services
- Amadeus FiRe AG establishes the IT Services division.
- Steuer-Fachschule Dr. Endriss GmbH & Co. KG participates in Akademie für Internationale Rechnungslegung in September.

- Amadeus AG and FiRe AG merge to form Amadeus FiRe AG in August.
